Leapfrog

Leapfrog is an electronic games for children, that is just learning how to read. Their are different types of games that go with the leapfrog systems. One type of game is teaching the child how to spell different words. They would not be hard words for them to spell, it would be easy words to spell. For example, "he, she, they, it" Another type of game is teaching the child how to read.

Reading a big part of learning how to spell. Reading and spelling go together like peanut butter and jelly or two pea in a pond. They go hand to hand, because if you remember when you were learning how to read, you had to make sure that the word was spelled correctly to know what you are reading. You do not have to wait until your child is school age, to get them leapfrog. They have leapfrog games that you can buy for your toddlers. The leapfrogs for toddlers is shapes, numbers or letters but they can even look at the letters of the word of the colors or numbers.

Then after a while of looking at the words, they will know what each letter is and then they could try to spell the words, even if it is "blue, red, brown, black, white". Leapfrog, comes with a pen that when you place it on top of the page, the book talks to the child. It can either say the letter, number or sounding out the word of the child. This is a great toy for a child of any age that want to learn about different things. You can also do this with out the pen and have an adult helping the child though the book.
